I am a 6 year-old Beagle adopted from a Brooklyn rescue. Sweet Molly is gone, and I am taking over her blog in her memory. I am hopefully going to be a therapy dog. My mom, Joan Antelman, helps older dogs and cats get new homes through her "Senior Pets: All They Need Is Love" newsletter and Seniorpetsnyc.org blog, and I want to continue Molly's work and help older Beagles find new homes by posting their photos and info here on "Bodie's Beagle Blog"!

Foster an Older Beagle for Senior Pets NYC!
Senior Pets NYC is looking for a new foster home to foster an older beagle. There are several senior beagles right now in owner homes or shelters that need to be rescued but we do not have an open foster home. Fostering is a wonderful way to help an older dog until the dog gets adopted. All medical is paid for by the rescue organization, and the foster home provides food, love, shelter and exercise. The foster home also helps get their dog adopted by showing the dog to potential adopters who have already been screened and approved. If you are intersted in fostering an older beagle, please email for a foster application. The screening process includes a required home check. If you are a renter, you must have permission to have a dog as stated in your lease in order to foster a dog. Thanks!! email joansdogs@aol.com for application today.
